ESG Specialist - Mining Sustainability

In this pivotal role, you will drive our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives to ensure compliance, sustainability, and community impact in Bangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung. As part of our commitment to responsible mining, you will work closely with our mining operations, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to implement and monitor ESG strategies that align with international standards and local community needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing ESG programs that address environmental impacts, social responsibilities, and governance practices. You will conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure our operations meet and exceed regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into our business processes and decision-making.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement ESG strategies and programs to ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.
• Conduct regular ESG assessments and audits to monitor and improve our sustainability performance.
• Collaborate with mining operations to identify and mitigate environmental and social risks.
• Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, regulatory bodies, and NGOs, to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Prepare and present ESG reports to stakeholders and management, highlighting our progress and achievements.
• Stay updated with the latest ESG trends, regulations, and best practices, and incorporate relevant insights into our strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business processes and decision-making.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on ESG principles and best practices.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG or sustainability roles, preferably in the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations, including ISO 14001, SASB, and GRI.
• Proficiency in using ESG software and tools such as Sustainalytics, ESG Insights, or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and build positive relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address ESG challenges.
• Certifications in ESG, sustainability, or related fields are a plus.
